My name is Maria, I am Italian, and after moving to the United States, I began to notice something that touched me deeply: how much Americans love Italy.

Not only the famous places, the food, or the beautiful landscapes, but the feeling of Italy — the warmth, the beauty, the slower rhythm, the attention to simple things, the way a meal, a home, or a small daily ritual can feel meaningful.

That is what inspired ItaPassion.

This project is my way of bringing a more authentic piece of Italy into everyday life abroad. Not a perfect or staged version of Italy, but the Italy I know and love: warm homes, seasonal food, thoughtful details, time around the table, beautiful places, family traditions, and the quiet elegance of ordinary moments.

Through ItaPassion, I share Italian-inspired ideas for home, food, travel, lifestyle, and daily rituals. My hope is to help readers bring a little more beauty, intention, and Italian feeling into their own lives, wherever they are.

Working on this project has also brought me closer to home. It has made me feel more connected to my culture, my memories, and the everyday beauty that shaped the way I see the world.
